Hat-trick hero Theo 40-1 for golden touch

THEO WALCOTT has shown he can be successful as the main central striker for Arsenal and he is 40-1 with BetVictor to win the Premier League Golden Boot after helping himself to a hat-trick in the 7-3 mauling of Newcastle at the Emirates on Saturday.

The Englishman, who is out of contract this summer, moved on to a league tally of eight with only six players Gareth Bale (nine), Jermain Defoe (ten), Luis Suarez (11), Michu (13), Demba Ba (13) and Robin van Persie (14) ahead of him in the goalscoring charts.

Ba’s brace in north London saw him cut to 10-1 to claim the Golden Boot but van Persie’s is the 11-8 favourite to retain his crown following another goal for Manchester United in their 2-0 success over West Brom at Old Trafford.

Poland v Portugal

Key stats
  • Poland have kept six clean sheets in their last eight internationals
Expert verdict
Poland required penalties to get past Switzerland in the last 16 while Portugal scored a 117th-minute goal to see off Croatia and the teams' quarter-final meeting could be another epic. The Poles have conceded only one goal – a stunner from Swiss star Xherdan Shaqiri – in the tournament while Portugal are similarly defensive-minded and the 90-minute draw looks a decent bet.
