Mourinho 4-1 to be next top-flight boss to leave

JOSE MOURINHO is 4-1 with Coral to be the next Premier League manager to leave his current position despite being backed publicly by the Blues in a statement issued on the club’s website.

“The club wants to make it clear that Jose continues to have our full support,” read the statement. “As Jose has said himself, results have not been good enough and the team's performances must improve.

"However, we believe that we have the right manager to turn this season around and that he has the squad with which to do it.”

Newcastle’s Steve McClaren is the 7-4 favourite in Paddy Power's market with Aston Villa’s Tim Sherwood available at 6-1.
