Southgate's side through to European finals

ENGLAND advanced to the European Under-21 finals after goals from Liam Moore and Will Hughes secured a 2-1 victory away to Croatia on Tuesday.

The Three Lions went through 4-2 on aggregate, having won Friday’s first leg at Molineux 2-1.

Defending champions Spain missed out on a place at the 2015 finals after following up a first-leg 0-0 draw away to Serbia with a 2-1 defeat in Cadiz.
