16/1 Premier League Accumulator lands to end January with a bang!

Midweek Premier League doesn't come around often, but when it does, it's a real treat for football fans and punters!

Gameweek 22 saw a full schedule of ten midweek matches and it ended up being very kind to us with a 16/1 accumulator landing at reduced odds of just shy of 9/1! A very nice return for a four-fold.

How we landed a 16/1 Premier League accumulator

Over 2.5 Goals - Nottingham Forest v Arsenal

We kicked things off with a nail-biter at the City Ground as our over 2.5 was looking in doubt at 60 minutes. Arsenal were dominating but couldn't put the ball in the back of the net, and it was 0-0 between these two sides on the hour mark. However, two goals in seven minutes for the Gunners gave us hope, and when Awoniyi came on as a sub, he completely changed the game and poked home from close range in the 89th minute to land the first leg!

Over 3 Asian Goal Line - Luton v Brighton

The surprise of the round and maybe the season was Luton going 2-0 ahead within three minutes at home to Brighton. They made it 3-0 just before half-time, and Adebayo wrapped things up with his hattrick on 56 minutes to give us a sweat-free winner.

Over 3.0 Asian Goal Line - Aston Villa v Newcastle

Another relatively comfortable win came at Villa Park, with a slightly surprising scoreline. Fabian Schar scored twice in four minutes just after the half-hour mark to give the Toon Army a 2-0 lead. Newcastle dominated most of the game and wrapped things up just after the break, thanks to Alex Moreno's own goal. Ollie Watkins secured us the win with a goal in the 71st minute, and things were looking good for us.

Fulham Draw No Bet vs Everton

Things finished all-square at Craven Cottage despite their being over four expected goals. A 0-0 result meant we received a refund for this leg, and the acca can still pay out heading into Thursday, but it will be at reduced odds.

Tottenham Win v Brentford

The final leg rolled on to Wednesday evening. We needed a Spurs win, and we didn't get off to the best of starts as Brentford took the lead inside 15 minutes. Ange Postecoglu must have had a few words with the Spurs players at half-time because they came flying out of the traps in the second half, scoring three times in just eight minutes. They played some devastating attacking football in a game that turned quite chippy between both sets of players after Maupay imitated James Maddison's darts celebration for the first goal.

It was a nail-biting end to the game as Toney made it 3-2 with a little over 20 minutes to go but we held on to land a nice winner!
