England squad named for Nations League finals
Gareth Southgate has named his squad for this summer's Nations League finals with captain Harry Kane part of the 27-man pool that will need trimming down to 23 come the June tournament in Portugal.
Kane has been missing for Tottenham since an ankle injury suffered in the Champions League quarter-final victory over Manchester City on April 9.
Southampton's Nathan Redmond earns a surprise call-up, while Fabian Delph, Joe Gomez, Jesse Lingard and Harry Winks are recalled.
Luke Shaw, Manchester United's Player of the Year, has been dropped in favour of Ben Chilwell and Danny Rose at left-back. Chelsea pair Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are injured.
England, who meet Holland in the semi-finals on June 6, are 9-4 to win the Nations League. Hosts Portugal are the 21-10 favourites.
