James Maddison ruled out of England fixtures
James Maddison has been ruled out of England's Euro 2020 qualifiers against Czech Republic and Bulgaria due to illness.
Maddison, who is still waiting for his first cap at senior level, has impressed for Leicester in this season's Premier League, scoring in his last two appearances against Tottenham and Liverpool.
Gareth Southgate's side, who have enjoyed a perfect qualifying campaign, are 1-2 to win in Prague on Friday and are 2-7 to see off Bulgaria in Sofia on Monday.
The Three Lions are 5-1 to lift the European Championship trophy next summer in a tournament where the semi-final and final will be played at Wembley.
