Man City red-hot favourites for EFL Cup

Manchester City are 11-10 favourites to retain the EFL Cup after being drawn to play away to League One outfit Oxford in the quarter-finals.

City were 3-0 winners at the Kassam Stadium in last season's competition en route to lifting the trophy at Wembley.

Manchester United come next in the betting at 9-2 following their draw at home to League Two Colchester.

The Essex side, who have already knocked out Tottenham and Crystal Palace, are an unlikely 500-1 to win the EFL Cup.

Leicester have drifted to 9-1 and face a tricky trip to 11-1 shots Everton, while Liverpool are 9-2 ahead of their quarter-final trip to Aston Villa. Dean Smith's Villa are 28-1.

The ties are due to be played the week commencing December 16, however Liverpool are in Club World Cup action in Qatar on December 18 so a new date must be found.
