Manchester City defence hit by John Stones injury
Manchester City are out to 8-11 from 4-6 with Betway and Sky Bet to win the Premier League after defender John Stones was ruled out for up to five weeks with a muscular injury sustained in training.
Pep Guardiola now has only one fit first-team centre back available in Nicolas Otamendi, with first-choice Aymeric Laporte already sidelined for up to four months. Liverpool are still available at 6-4 to finish top of the pile but Sky Bet have trimmed their odds to 11-8.
City's defensive fragility was exposed in a 3-2 defeat to top-flight new boys Norwich City on Saturday and Fernandinho is expected to slot into their defence for their first Champions League game of the season against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
The Manchester club remain 1-3 favourites to win in Ukraine and are 10-3 favourites to lift the trophy.
