Hudson new favourite to take charge of Terriers

Mark Hudson is the new 9-4 favourite for the Huddersfield job after David Wagner left his post by mutual consent on Monday.

The Huddersfield U23s boss leads a market which features Carlos Carvalhal (6-1), Sam Allardyce (10-1) and former Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic (12-1). Allardyce has seemingly, though, ruled himself out as a candidate for the John Smith's Stadium hotseat.

The Terriers are eight points from safety and are as short as 1-16 for the drop and 10-1 to stay up. Huddersfield's next game is a daunting home fixture with champions Manchester City.

Nottingham Forest have appointed club legend Martin O'Neill as their new manager after Aitor Karanka departed after just a year in the position.

Forest are ninth in the Sky Bet Championship and have shortened to 10-1 for promotion to the Premier League this season following the appointment.

Expert verdict
Crystal Palace boast a fine recent record against Leicester and should continue their dominance. The Eagles have fought their way up to 13th while Leicester are fading fast, taking just one point from the last 15 on offer – everything points to another Palace defeat of the Foxes.
