Nottingham Forest v Bournemouth
Both sides have great attacks but are leaky at the back. The Cherries saw over 2.5 land in seven of their nine away games against sides in the bottom half last season. They are still yet to add defensive reinforcements and this Forest attack can have success. Forest also saw over 2.5 land in six of their nine home games against sides in the bottom half last season.
Watford v Stoke
Stoke are a side that ended last season strong and they've carried that form into the new season with two wins from two. Watford were fortunate in their 3-2 away win at Millwall last week. They conceded 2.00 expected goals and could only muster up 1.12 expected goals despite scoring three. The Watford squad still looks miles short of talent and I don't think they should be favourites over the Potters.
Burnley v Cardiff
Burnley looked a class above promotion chasing Luton in the opening weekend of the Championship. Cardiff are a side that overperformed their expected points last season and need more quality added. The Bluebirds suffered a 2-0 home defeat in their opening game and could be in for a long afternoon at Turf Moor.
Plymouth v Hull
Hull manager Tim Walter has been described as playing 'heart attack' style football. Argyle averaged 3.30 goals per game at home last season and saw over 2.5 land in 61%. They looked defensively out of sorts against Wednesday in their opening game and both sides will see this as an opportunity to get their first win of the season.
Norwich v Blackburn
Norwich started Grant Hanley and Shane Duffy at centre-back against Oxford and they were comfortably beaten 2-0. They look set to start againand now face a Rovers attack that has scored ten in their opening two games. The Canaries also conceded three against Stevenage in the cup in midweek.
