Silva 1-2 for next boss exit with Toffees toiling

Everton manager Marco Silva is no bigger than 1-2 to be the next Premier League boss to leave his post after the Toffees suffered a last-gasp 2-1 loss at Leicester on Sunday to make it seven defeats in ten league games.

Next up for the Goodison Park outfit on Wednesday is the Merseyside derby at Anfield and leaders Liverpool have won 14 of their 15 Premier League games this campaign and have not lost to their city rivals for over nine years.

Manchester United gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now second-favourite in the market at 6-1 as the Red Devils, who drew 2-2 with Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday, prepare to host a Jose Mourinho-rejuvenated Tottenham in midweek before a trip across town to the Etihad and Manchester City on Saturday. Coral go 2-5 that Solskjaer departs the Theatre of Dreams before the end of the season.

After their sides' important wins over Chelsea and Watford on Saturday, West Ham chief Manuel Pellegrini and Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl have been eased in the betting to 12-1 and 14-1 for the chop.

Wolves' Nuno Espirito Santo is also 14-1 to be the next top-flight manager exit but that is because he is being linked with the permanent position available at Arsenal, as are 20-1 shot Brendan Rodgers and 25-1 poke Eddie Howe. Coral and Ladbrokes are just 8-1, though, about Rodgers, who has got the Foxes flying in pursuit of Liverpool, going next.

With champions Manchester City falling 11 points adrift of the Reds after their 2-2 draw at Newcastle on Saturday, Ladbrokes are offering 3-1 that Pep Guardiola seeks pastures new before the start of next season.
