Solskjaer 7-2 for United sack before Christmas

Manchester United sacked Jose Mourinho on December 18 last year and Ladbrokes are offering 7-2 that his successor Ole Gunnar Solskjaer loses his job before Christmas Day.

United, who have taken just eight points from their first six Premier League matches of the season and needed penalties to get past Rochdale in the EFL Cup, are 7-5 for a home victory over Arsenal on Monday night.

They start the weekend as 2-1 shots to finish in the top four – the Gunners are evens – and Solskjaer is 2-1 with Ladbrokes to leave
Old Trafford before the end of the season.

Betway make the Norwegian evens to remain at the club longer than 8-11 shot Paul Pogba and the firm quote Pogba at 3-1 to depart before the end of the January transfer window.

Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino is 3-1 with Betway to be United’s next permanent manager. Coral make Pochettino 8-15 to be in charge of Spurs for their final game of the 2019-20 campaign and 11-8 to leave before the end of term.

Liverpool travel to Sheffield United in pursuit of a seventh win in seven Premier League games this season and the Reds are 33-1 with Coral to go through the entire league campaign unbeaten.

Liverpool are five points clear of Manchester City after six matches but City remain favourites to retain the title at 8-11 with the Reds 11-8.

Coral make the Citizens, who won the domestic treble last season, 50-1 to claim all four major trophies (including the Champions League) this season. Liverpool are 200-1 to win the quadruple.

Liverpool continued their relentless Premier League charge with a victory over Norwich on Saturday and should brush aside troubled West Ham. The Reds have kept seven consecutive clean sheets at Anfield in all competitions and a similar scenario could unfold.
