Spurs boss Pochettino backed for Real hotseat
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is a best-priced 7-2 to be the next Real Madrid manager after bookmakers reported significant support for the Argentinian to replace Julen Lopetegui, who was sacked on Monday night.
Available at double-figure odds last week, Pochettino is as short as 5-4 to take the reins at the Bernabeu and a best-priced 7-2.
Caretaker Santiago Solari remains favourite to take the role on a permanent basis but has eased in the market to 9-4 with Betway, having been as short as 4-7 yesterday morning.
Belgian national team boss Roberto Martinez is another to have come in for support at 5-1 but early favourite Antonio Conte is easy to back.
The former Chelsea manager was 1-20 at one stage on Monday but is now as big as 5-1.
