Sunderland appoint Phil Parkinson as new boss
Sunderland are 6-1 to win Sky Bet League One this season after appointing Phil Parkinson as their new manager.
The former Bolton boss has signed a deal until 2022 and replaces Jack Ross, who was sacked after winning only five of Sunderland's opening 11 league fixtures.
Only 6-4 shots Ipswich lead the Black Cats in the title betting and Parkinson's new side are rated 6-4 with Sky Bet to gain promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
They are a best-priced 7-4 to win Parkinson's first game in charge against Wycombe, who are 17-10 to take the spoils on Saturday.
