Aubameyang odds-on to bag at least seven goals
ARSENAL manager Arsene Wenger got his man yesterday as Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined the north London outfit for £56m just hours before the closure of the January transfer window.
It was a busy final day with French international Olivier Giroud, who has been frustrated by a lack of starts at Arsenal, moving across London to join Chelsea, while Antonio Conte allowed Belgian forward Michy Batshuayi to head to Dortmund to complete the transfer triangle.
Aubameyang scored 14 goals after January in the Bundesliga last year and is 4-6 with Coral to score more than seven in the remainder of this campaign.
It is the second time the Gunners have broken their transfer record on a striker in the last six months after they captured Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon in the summer.
Lacazette is 6-5 with BoyleSports to score more goals than his new teammate, who is 8-13 to win the goals match bet.
Betfred were impressed by Wenger’s deadline-day deals and cut the Gunners to 10-1 from 14-1 for a top-four finish, despite their 3-1 defeat at struggling Swansea on Tuesday.
Giroud should be primed for action for the Blues as regular striker Alvaro Morata is injured, but he is 9-4 with the firm to win goal match bets with the Spaniard and Aubameyang.
Elsewhere, Arsenal’s north London rivals Tottenham boosted their squad with the signing of Paris St-Germain’s wideman Lucas Moura.
